The Railway Association of Canada (RAC) recently released the 12th edition of its annual "Railway Trends" report, which provides performance data on Canadian freight and passenger railroads.
The 2004 edition includes 10-year overviews of financial and statistical results, including freight revenue per ton mile, fuel consumption, train and employment statistics, and intercity passenger- and commuter-rail data. The report also outlines public policy and taxation regulations, and describes the year's railroading highlights.
