Cando Rail & Terminals announced yesterday the completion of its Sarnia Terminal expansion project in Ontario.

The company increased rail-car capacity from 85 spots to about 550 spots to provide additional rail capacity to southern Ontario, Cando officials said in a press release.

Purchased in spring 2021, the rail terminal is located on 90 acres in the Sarnia Chemical Valley region and served by CN. The terminal offers short- and long-term rail-car staging and transloading for numerous products. It also features a two-track car repair shop and wash facility.
