Later this month, Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will hold a meeting to enable the public to view designs for the uptown light-rail stations to be built along the future South Corridor.

Officials will provide information on the light-rail line, station and bridge designs, and construction schedule.

Scheduled to open in October 2006, the 10-mile South Corridor light-rail line will run from uptown Charlotte to Interstate 485 and include 15 stations.
