This week, North Carolina’s Charlotte Area Transit System (CAT) will host a public meeting on the Center City Streetcar project.
Agency officials will provide an overview of the project, and seek feedback on proposed designs for streetcar shelters and vehicles, and the concept for the Trade Street Vision Plan.
Scheduled to open in 2009, the 10-mile streetcar line will run along Beatties Ford Road near Interstate 85, and through Center City Charlotte to Eastland Mall.
