Chemical shipper acknowledges BNSF's service; retailer recognizes Schneider National's intermodal efforts

BNSF Railway Co. recently received Canexus Chemicals’ 2008 Supplier Partnership award, the second time the Class I has been honored by the chemical shipper.
The award recognizes a Canexus supplier that scores the highest on an internal service evaluation, which analyzes transit times, customer service, billing and commitment to the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care® initiative.
Meanwhile, Schneider National Inc. received the 2008 Award for Transportation Excellence from The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. The award recognizes the transportation, logistics and intermodal service provider’s on-time pick-up and delivery rates, and customer service performance.
Schneider Intermodal hauls freight to Bon-Ton’s distribution centers in the Midwest and Northeast via its Eastern Core Intermodal Service, which incorporates CSX Intermodal’s network.
