National Property Holdings L.P. and Rail-Logix Alamo Junction plan to hold a grand opening ceremony tomorrow in Bexar County, Texas, for the Alamo Junction Rail Park.

To be served by BNSF Railway Co. and Union Pacific Railroad, the 400-acre, master-planned industrial park aims to attract manufacturing, distribution, transloading and oilfeld service facilities targeting the Eagle Ford Shale and San Antonio region.

Alamo Junction Rail Park is located 16 miles southeast of downtown San Antonio and near Interstate 37, and features a 9,000-lineal-foot loop track to accommodate unit trains.

The park's strategic location and integrated rail services provide a "distinct competitive advantage" to interested clients, National Property Holdings and Rail-Logix Alamo Junction officials said in a grand opening notice.
