On April 27, Progressive Railroading will present the Freight Car & Locomotive Virtual Conference & Expo, a free online event to be held from 9 to 5 p.m. (EST). Similar to a traditional trade show, the web-based exposition and conference will help connect rail decision makers and industry suppliers.

The event will offer educational webcasts, a virtual exhibit hall, networking opportunities and a resource center. The webcasts will focus on locomotive and rail-car market outlooks and perspectives, legislation affecting the rail-car market, short-line motive power, air emission issues and passenger-car safety standards.
