Committee begins search for next ASLRRA president

American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) recently formed a nine-member search committee to find a replacement candidate for President Frank Turner, who plans to retire in May.
The committee — designed to be broadly representative of ASLRRA's membership in regard to size and geography — comprises ASLRRA executive committee and several association members.
The committee plans to solicit candidates through February, conduct personal interviews during March and make its final selection in April.
