Containerization/intermodal institute elects officers, reappoints executive

The Containerization & Intermodal Institute recently elected the following officers: Joseph Cervenak, president; Brendan McCahill Sr., chairman; and Michael Berzon, treasurer. The institute also re-elected Matt Guasco as vice president.
Cervenak is a principal of Kemper-Joseph L.L.C., a strategy development and performance optimization consulting firm; McCahill is executive VP at international trade data company The Datamyne; Berzon is president of global supply-chain consultant Marlog Inc.; and Guasco is the eastern regional representative for the Port of Los Angeles.
The institute also reappointed Barbara Spector Yeninas as executive director, a position she's held for more than 20 years. Yeninas is a senior partner of transportation communications consulting firm BSY Associates Inc.
Founded in 1960, the Containerization & Intermodal Institute is the oldest professional trade association in the international containerization industry. The group promotes public awareness and education on international transportation and logistics issues, especially those focusing on containerization and intermodalism.
