The United Kingdom’s Northern Rail Ltd. recently awarded a $4 million contract to Cubic Transportation Systems Ltd. to supply, install and maintain a ticket issuing system.
Cubic will install 236 FasTIS units at 153 stations and two training academies. The user-friendly system is designed to streamline ticket distribution and reduce passenger wait times.
