DART boots up Spanish Web site
advertisement
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) recently launched a new Web site, transporteDART.org, targeted at Spanish-speaking customers.
Developed in response to recommendations from a focus group, the site provides schedule information, system maps, events and news in Spanish. The Web site also features local Hispanic events accessible by DART, instructions on how to use the systems and suggestions on popular destinations. In addition, the site provides key information, such as line names, in both Spanish and English.
"It’s more than just a translation of our English Web site," said DART Vice President of Marketing and Communications in a prepared statement. "It has its own unique look and approach, presenting information that is relevant to the Spanish-speaking riders living in north Texas."
