DART to discuss Irving/DFW light-rail extension

On Nov. 17, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will hold a public meeting to provide an update on the Irving/DFW section of the Northwest Corridor extension and gather input on station locations.
Scheduled to open in phases beginning in 2011, the Northwest Corridor will extend light-rail service from downtown Dallas to Farmers Branch and Carrollton. The Irving/DFW section will run from Bachman Lake through Las Colinas and Irving to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
