Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern workers choose BMWED

Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern Railroad (DM&E) workers recently voted in favor of being represented by the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes Division (BMWED).

The 277 DM&E maintenance-of-way employees will join the union, which represents more than 5,000 railroad workers.

Owned and operated by Canadian Pacific, the DM&E operates lines between Wyoming and Illinois.
