Denmark railway operator DSB recently contracted Verint Systems Inc. to provide its Networked Video Solution to increase security on the Copenhagen rail system, which serves 700,000 weekday passengers.
Verint will install the system in cars on certain portions of the system to enable onboard workers to monitor activities. The system is designed to alert security personnel about potential threats.
