advertisement
EVA Signal Corp. was awarded a contract from Network Rail (formerly Railtrack Plc.) to install grade-crossing detection systems in Invergordon, Scotland, and West Sussex and Essex, Great Britain.
The EVA Railroad Crossing Signal System includes sensors that are buried in right of way about 10 feet from track. The system is designed to detect problems that could affect track circuitry systems, such as grease, salt, sand and heavy precipitation.
The contract represents EVA Signal's first international sale, according to a prepared statement.
