Emons announces operational staff shifts

Emons Transportation Group Inc. Aug. 28 made several personnel moves:

  • Andrew Chunko was named operations manager, responsible for the day-to-day operations of Emon's Pennsylvania holdings: York Railway Co., Penn Eastern Rail Lines Inc. and Emons Logistics Services Inc. (ELS);
  • Albert Abruzzese was named manager of sales and marketing for the short-line holding company's three Pennsylvania operations; and
  • Barbara Mackley was promoted from ELS assistant traffic coordinator to traffic coordinator.

Chunko previously served in train service, operations planning and locomotive repair positions for CSX Corp. subsidiary TRANSFLO. Abruzzese served in operations, and sales and marketing positions for trucking firm A. Duie Pyle Cos.
