Fleming takes leave of absence from BMWE presidential post

On July 2, Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes (BMWE) President Mac Fleming took a leave of absence for medical reasons. He expects to be gone from his post through year end.
In the interim, Secretary-Treasurer Freddie Simpson will serve as acting president and Executive Board Chairman Perry Geller, acting secretary-treasurer, per BMWE's constitution and bylaws.
"On behalf of all BMWE officers, members and friends, I would like to take this opportunity to wish Mac Godspeed with his return," said Simpson in a prepared statement.
