advertisement
During the next week, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold public meetings to discuss the South Florida East Coast Corridor Transit Analysis Study, which will recommend ways to reduce roadway congestion and improve mobility in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
To be sponsored by the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority and Metropolitan Planning Organizations in the three counties, the study will be managed by FDOT. The parties will consider transit options along an 82-mile Florida East Coast Railway corridor between Miami and Jupiter.
