For the fourth-straight year, Canadian Pacific Railway has earned the Chrysler Group's top transportation award.
Last week, the Class I received the Chrysler Group Gold Award, which recognizes carriers consistent day-to-day delivery of parts and finished vehicles during 2002.
"CPR has demonstrated the ability to partner with us in pursuit of significant improvements in cost, quality and delivery time," said Chrysler Group Director of Logistics Edward Sprock in a prepared statement.
In June, CPR obtained a five-year contract extension from the Chrysler Group to move finished vehicles within Canada, from Canada to the United States via Chicago, and from the United States to western and eastern Canada via Chicago and Albany, N.Y.
