French railway to provide real-time train arrival info at stations

French railway Societe Nationale de Chemins de fer Fran Yais (SNCF) is installing SeeBeyond Technology Corp.’s equipment to provide train arrival times in stations.
SeeBeyond is installing sensors on SNCF tracks to collect real-time data, which is relayed to station schedule boards through the company’s Gateú Integrator platform.
Already installed at two stations, the system will be implemented at another 60 stations by 2005’s end.
