GO Transit increases fares

Tomorrow, Toronto’s GO Transit will implement a new fare structure.

The basic fare will increase 15 cents; two-ride ticket, 30 cents; 10-ride ticket, $1.50; and monthly pass, $6. The fare hike will help the agency cover the cost of inflation, and fund service improvements, increase reliability and improve communications, according to a GO Transit bulletin.
