Yesterday, Toronto’s GO Transit opened the Mount Pleasant Station on the Georgetown Line — the eighth facility on the line and 55th station along the agency’s system.
Located between the Georgetown and Brampton stations, the facility will serve the Peel and Halton neighborhoods.
Still under construction, the station is ready for passenger service. Scheduled to be completed in early 2006, the facility already includes a 600-space parking lot, passenger drop-off area and bus loop.
