Gamble to step down from top ARRC post

Alaska Railroad Corp. (ARRC) President and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Gamble has been named president of the University of Alaska, according to a prepared statement issued by ARRC’s board.
He plans to step down as the railroad’s leader and assume the new position in June. ARRC’s board plans to meet March 25 to discuss ways to proceed with recruiting and selecting Gamble’s successor.
