Planning, design and construction management firm Gannett Fleming Inc. and management consulting and training development company Dering Consulting Group Inc. recently formed Avant IMC L.L.C.
The joint venture will offer combined management consulting, planning and engineering services for companies that own and maintain large infrastructure systems, such as rail, highway, and water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems.
Dering Consulting Group Principal Jim Brock will serve as Avant IMC’s president and chief executive officer; Gannett Fleming Senior Vice President and Environmental Resources Division Director Gene Koontz will serve as chairman.
