Garth succeeds Herman as GM of Watco's Baton Rouge Southern

Watco Transportation Services Inc. recently named Jesse Garth general manager of the 1.5-mile Baton Rouge Southern Railroad to succeed Linn Herman, who now will serve as car repair manager for the Gulf Region.
Garth previously served CN in various capacities. Since joining Watco in 1983 as a box-car cleaner, Herman has been the GM at the Blue Mountain, South Kansas and Oklahoma, and Alabama Southern railroads. He also served stints as operations manager, and director of rail-car repair for the Vicksburg Southern and Mississippi Southern railroads, and played a role in the Mississippi Southern’s start-up in 2005.
