Glover, Rao take financial posts at CSX, CSXT

CSX Corp. April 11 announced James Glover had been promoted to assistant vice president - credit for the corporation, and Niranjan Rao had been named treasurer of subsidiary CSX Transportation Inc. (CSXT).
Glover, who began working for a CSXT predecessor in 1976, has held various financial positions at the railroad and the corporation, including director - financial management, managing director - financial planning and assistant treasurer.
Glover now is responsible for establishing credit policy, maintaining compliance with credit terms and directing bankruptcy and litigation matters related to receivables for CSX Corp. and its subsidiaries.
Rao has been employed by CSXT and its predecessors for 23 years. His past titles include financial analyst, director - finance administration and, most recently, managing director - cost and economic analysis.
Rao now is responsible for financing the acquisition and leasing of rail assets for the eastern Class I railroad.
