Gulf States Toyota plans to build a $50 million vehicle processing center in Temple, Texas, that will be served by BNSF Railway Co.

To enter the construction phase in 2009 and open in 2011, the center will be built in Temple's Rail Park at Central Pointe, which offers direct access to BNSF's yard. The facility will process and ship via rail about 100,000 Toyota and Scion vehicles annually.

Gulf States Toyota currently operates a vehicle processing center in Houston that is undergoing an expansion.
