The city of Albuquerque, N.M., recently contracted engineering firm HDR Inc. to project manage the city’s streetcar project.
The streetcar line would run along the Central Avenue corridor from Old Town to Nob Hill, and from Central Avenue to the Albuquerque International Airport.
HDR will be responsible for project management and engineering, architectural and urban design, vehicle procurement, and operations and maintenance planning. The firm has subcontracted consultants URS Corp. and LTK Engineering Services Inc.
