Haka to join FEC as EVP, COO

Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) recently appointed Joel Haka executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective Feb. 21.
He has more than 30 years of experience in maritime operations and currently serves as senior vice president and COO for CMA CGM (America) L.L.C., where he oversees North American marine, terminal and inland operations. Haka previously was SVP of corporate operations for P&O Nedlloyd, a position responsible for terminal operations, intermodal and truck operations.
FEC operates a 351-mile corridor between Miami and Jacksonville, Fla.
