Harsco Track Technologies (HTT) recently obtained two orders totaling more than $12 million to supply rail grinders in Japan and Singapore.
HTT will build two 10-stone grinders for the Japanese customer and one 16-stone configuration for the Singapore Land Transport Authority. To be delivered next year, the grinders will be built at HTT’s West Columbia, S.C., plant.
The Singapore order marks the railway maintenance equipment supplier’s second grinder sale in the country. HTT has sold grinders in Japan since the early 1980s.
