Harsco to supply grinder for Chinese light-rail system

Harsco Track Technologies (HTT) recently obtained an order for a rail grinder from Tianjin Binhai Mass Transit Development Co. Ltd., which is expanding the Tianjin, China, light-rail system.

Harsco plans to deliver the grinder by year end.

In 2003, HTT received its largest-ever contract for railway track maintenance equipment from China’s Ministry of Railways. Under separate orders, Harsco also has supplied rail grinders to China’s Guangzhou Metro and Shenzhen Metro.
