Holland L.P. recently signed an agreement with Ukrainian research center E. O. Paton Electric Welding Institute and Ukrainian supplier Kakhovka Plant of Electric Welding Equipment to jointly develop, manufacture and market electric flash-butt welding equipment for railroad and industrial applications worldwide.
The organizations also plan to offer sales and customer service support, training and welding equipment parts.
“The combined expertise of the three companies will continue to drive the development of the latest technologies in design, manufacturing and operations of electric flash-butt welding and its applications,” Holland said.
Holland provides electric flash-butt welding systems and track testing services, and supplies freight-car components.
