The Home Depot recently named Hub Group Inc. the intermodal carrier of the year — the first time Home Depot hasn't chosen a carrier for the award.
The company recognized the Hub Group for improving service, solving rail and drayage issues, and providing administrative assistance.
"Receiving this award is validation of Hub's commitment to providing our customers with the most cost efficient, highest quality intermodal management services," said Hub Group Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David Yeager in a prepared statement.
The Hub Group provides intermodal, truckload brokerage, and logistics and distribution services.
