The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA), National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) and Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) recently finalized dates and agendas for their joint event. IANA's "2004 Intermodal Expo" and NITL’s "TransComp 2004" annual meetings, and TIA's fall meeting will be held Nov. 13-16 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.

The event's keynote speaker will be Jerry Moyes, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Swift, the parent company of truckload carrier and intermodal service provider Swift Transportation Co. Inc. The closing address will be given by Gene Kranz, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration lead flight director who successfully brought the Apollo 13 crew back to earth in 1970.

The event also will feature educational sessions, topical issue forums, networking opportunities and exhibits.
