Last week, the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) elected Vice Chairman Frank Sonzala as chairman for the coming year.

Executive vice president of Pressure Systems International Inc., Sonzala succeeds outgoing Chairman Michael Wilson, who serves as VP of equipment and logistics for Hamburg Sud North America Inc.

IANA also elected Kansas City Southern VP of Intermodal and International Theodore Prince vice chairman to succeed Sonzala, and re-elected ContainerPort Group Inc. President Richard Coleman as treasurer.

In addition, the association elected new directors: Jeffrey Brashares, vice chairman-commercial sales of Pacer Global Logistics; James Hertwig, president of CSX Intermodal; Anthony Pacella, president of Cushing Transportation Inc.; and Greg Stefflre, chief executive officer of Rail Delivery Services Inc. All four will serve three-year terms.

Lastly, IANA appointed Prince to its board and appointed Jordan Ayers, VP of chassis for TAL International Inc., to a one-year term.
