Rail News: Rail Industry Trends
Frank (Fran) Kimball, a partner and retired vice president of engineering of Strato Inc., died on May 12. He was 66.
Throughout his 18 years in the railroad industry, Kimball developed numerous innovative products and made many lasting relationships, his colleagues say. He retired 10 years ago from Strato, which manufactures railroad products for the locomotive, freight and transit industries, to enjoy time with his family.
Kimball is survived by his wife, four sons and four grandchildren.
