Indiana Harbor Belt reaches tentative agreement with signalmen

On March 20, Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad Co. (IHB) reached a tentative agreement with Brotherhood of Railway Signalmen, according to National Mediation Board.


Details weren't released on the contract, which is subject to ratification.


IHB serves 16 Chicago-area railroads as a switch carrier, operating 54 miles of mainline track (including 24 miles of double track), and 266 miles of yard and siding track.
