Intrade International Inc. recently obtained an order from Chilean copper miner Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile's (Codelco) railway division for one track geometry inspection vehicle.
Produced by Imagemap and featuring laser-powered, non-contact measurement equipment, the vehicle is designed to measure gauge, cross level, curvature, and left and right surface, alignment and warp.
An international sales, marketing and management firm, Intrade currently is transporting the machine to Chile. Codelco plans to begin using the vehicle next month.
