Iowa Interstate promotes Lipka to EVP, CFO

Last month, Iowa Interstate Railroad Ltd. (IAIS) promoted Jerome Lipka from chief financial officer to executive vice president and CFO. He joined the 550-mile regional in 2008 as CFO.
Lipka has more than 33 years of financial and accounting experience, including more than 20 years in the rail industry. His railroad experience includes stints with the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, Burlington Northern Railroad, Santa Fe Railway and Arkansas and Missouri Railroad, where he was CFO for more than eight years.
Founded in 1984, IAIS operates between Omaha, Neb., and Chicago, including a direct connection to Peoria, Ill.
