Iowa Interstate shuffles exec staff

Iowa Interstate Railroad Ltd. recently promoted Al Satunas from superintendent of operations-Illinois to chief transportation officer and Joe Moon, from superintendent of operations-Iowa to general superintendent of transportation.

The regional also promoted Randy Laughridge from assistant chief mechanical officer to CMO to succeed John Wiesch, who retired. In addition, the railroad named Jeff Johnson director of safety and security, and appointed Andrew “Butch” Reid superintendent-mechanical.

Iowa Interstate operates more than 500 miles of track between Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Chicago, and a corridor connecting to Peoria, Ill.
