Johnstown America Corp. recently signed a five-year contract with United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America governing workers at Freight Car Services Inc., the rail-car builder's Danville, Ill., plant.
Earlier this month, Johnstown America completed negotiations with the union, enabling the car builder to expect "no delivery delays in the years to come," according to a prepared statement.
"We believe our success at this facility is due to … the positive relationship between workers and management," said Johnstown America Vice President of Operations Kenneth Bridges.
