advertisement
DMFB Joint Venture recently obtained an $81 million contract to design and build an elevated passenger railway in Manila, Philippines.
A consortium comprising DMCI Holdings Inc. subsidiary D.M. Consunji Inc. and First-Balfour Inc., DMFB Joint Venture will helm the 3.2-mile LRT North Extension project, which is scheduled for completion in 2010.
The project calls for connecting the existing LRT 1 to MRT 3 by constructing an elevated viaduct from Monumento Station of Line 1 to North Avenue Station of Line 3. The joint venture also will build two intermediate stations (Balintawak and Roosevelt) and one terminal station (Line 1 North Avenue Station).
