KCS adds multiple trip plan application to e-commerce site
advertisement
On June 24, Kansas City Southern unveiled another tool on its "My KCS" e-commerce portal.
The "Multiple Trip Plan Inquiry" feature enables Kansas City Southern Railway Co. and Kansas City Southern de México S.A. de C.V. customers who use a track-and-trace application to simultaneously inquire about tentative schedules for up to 30 rail cars. Customers using My KCS — which is accessible through KCS' Web site at www.kcsouthern.com — previously could only retrieve one trip plan at a time.
Customers can copy and paste or manually enter an equipment list by accessing a trip plan or selecting equipment from a general inquiry list.
