KCS forms sales operations group

Kansas City Southern’s sales and marketing department recently formed a new sales operations group to support sales teams in the United States and Mexico.
Based at KCS’ corporate headquarters in Kansas City, Mo., the new group will focus on performance reporting, customer presentations and scorecards. In addition, the group will establish processes to “drive consistency in the sales process across KCS,” according to an item posted on the “KCS News” web page.
The group will be led by General Director of Sales Operations Michael Schuler.
