Kansas City Southern has promoted Thomas Campbell from assistant vice president support services to vice president administration.

In his new role, Campbell will oversee the Class I’s real estate, safety, police and freight claims prevention, joint facilities and contracts, heritage operations, and management developing training and process improvement functions.

“Tom Campbell has developed and implemented significant process improvements in how we support the core operation, and will remain a vital part of the organization as we take advantage of shared efficiencies between the U.S. and Mexican operations,” said KCS Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Art Shoener in a prepared statement.
