advertisement
Kansas City Southern has realigned its transportation divisions and shuffled its management team.
The company promoted David Ebbrecht from assistant vice president of network operations to VP transportation; and Mitchell Whitmire, from general director of materials logistics to general manager of locomotive operations, a newly created position. KCS also named Jeff Crandall, most recently VP of transportation, VP of engineering.
In addition, the company realigned three transportation divisions and assigned new leaders for each. The Midwest Division now covers a territory from East St. Louis, Ill., west to Kansas City, Mo., and south to Shreveport, La. Kevin McIntosh, most recently AVP of personnel services, will be the division's general manager.
The Southeast Division will cover Dallas east to Shreveport and Meridian, Miss., and north to Counce, Tenn., as well as a line from Hattiesburg to Gulfport, Miss. Formerly Midwest Division GM Claude Friesland will serve as GM for the Southeast Division.
Finally, the Texas Division will cover Laredo, Texas, north to Shreveport and south to New Orleans. Mark Redd, most recently the Southeast Division's GM, will serve as GM of the Texas Division.
