KCSR promotes Honc to AVP purchasing post

The Kansas City Southern Railway Co. (KCSR) recently promoted Vladimir Honc from general director to assistant vice president of purchasing. He will report to Vice President of Purchasing Edward Scott.  
 
Honc previously was director of purchasing for engineering materials for KCSR and Kansas City Southern de México S.A. de C.V. (KCSM). He has 13 years of railroad purchasing experience, starting as a manager in Monterrey, Mexico, with a KCSM predecessor.
