Rail News: Rail Industry Trends
Kelso Technologies Inc. recently reached an agreement with Mexican business and legal consultant Bufete Jurídico Guadarrama y Asociados S.C. to help promote Kelso's pressure-relief valve line in Central and South America.
The consultant will help identify potential joint venture partners in Latin America and other regions; seek development and investment capital for joint ventures; develop relationships with potential manufacturing groups serving Latin America; and ensure any joint venture partners fulfill Association of American Railroads' (AAR) manufacturing and distribution requirements.
Kelso's line includes the AAR-approved JS75 pressure-relief valve, and AAR Tank Car Committee-approved JS75L and JS165L low-flow valves.
"This key alliance ... will result in increasing our worldwide sales," said Kelso President and Chief Executive Officer John Carswell in a prepared statement. "The new joint venture relationship has enabled Kelso to develop a model for expanding representation internationally."
