LA MTA to operate limited-stop trains on Gold Line
advertisement
On Feb. 13, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA MTA) will launch limited-stop service on the Los Angeles-to-Pasadena Gold Line to shorten end-to-end rush-hour travel times from 34 minutes to 29 minutes.
Limited-stop trains will operate every half hour in both directions during the morning and afternoon rush hours. Trains will stop at five of the Gold Line’s 13 stations — Union Station, Highland Park, Mission, Del Mar and Sierra Madre Villa. LA MTA chose stops based on passenger boardings, parking availability and business development.
