London transit agency to install TVs onboard passenger trains

TNX Television Holdings Inc.’s United Kingdom subsidiary TNCI UK Ltd. recently obtained a contract to install its TNX television system on London commuter-rail trains.
"One" operates all mainline, regional and inter-urban train routes serving London Liverpool Street and the East of England. The new commuter-rail agency provides 100 million passenger trips annually.
In second-quarter 2005, TNX will begin installing its commuter television system on One’s fleet. Under a six-year contract, TNX will air news and information provided by Independent Television News Ltd. of London. The system also can provide passenger information and closed-circuit television.
